Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Nagelmaschinen für Schuh- etc. Fabrikation, sowie auch für andere. Gegenstände, wo Theile mittelst Nägel mit einander verbunden werden, die hier nicht aus Metall oder Holz, sondern aus Leder oder anderem Material von verhältnifsmäfsig weicher Structur bestehen. Es sind seitens der Maschine die erforderlichen Löcher herzustellen, die Ledernägel durchzutreiben und beiderseitig gleichmäfsig abzuputzen. Die Unterlage a, auf welche das zu nagelnde Material gelegt wird, ist aus hornartigem Material hergestellt (Fig. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 und 11) und von der verticalen Achse h concentrisch bewegbar getragen. Der Daumenm bewirkt den ersten und der Daumen m¹ den zweiten Theil des seitlichen, in Zwischenräumen stattfindenden Ganges des Kopftheiles Z bezw. den der Ahle α² und des Treibers j, sowie den Vorschub des zu nagelnden Materials; der Hub des Daumens in kann für verschiedene Nageldistanzen beliebig geändert werden durch Verstellen der Schraube i¹. Der Daumen m^l ist vorn (Fig. 11) mit einem excentrisch rotirenden Stift η versehen, welcher auf dem im Kopftheil Z vertical geführten und die Ahle α² tragenden Schieber a³ abwechselnd wirkt. Die Hubstelle ä* bewirkt den ersten und die Hubstelle a⁵ den zweiten Theil des Niederganges der Ahle α² derart, dafs nach Vollendung der ersten Seitenbewegung a² blos einen kurzen Stich in das Material und nach Vollendung der zweiten ganz durch das zu nagelnde Material und das Ahlloch b¹ geht. Um den ersten Theil des Niederganges der Ahle nach Erfordernifs vergröfsern oder verkleinern zu können, ist der Hub a⁴ durch die Schraube a^e verstellbar angeordnet.
