Dies hat den Nachteil, daß die Bürsten den Kommutator stark angreifen, selbst dabei zerstört werden und auch den Bürstenhalter in Mitleidenschaft ziehen. Zur to Beseitigung dieses Übelstandes sind bereits mechanische, an den Bürstenhaltern vorgesehene Vorrichtungen bekannt geworden.
