Vorliegende Einrichtung dient dem Zwecke der Heizung von Dampfkesseln mit Dämpfen, erzeugt durch Verdunstung von Petroleum — oder anderen flüssigen Brennstoffen — mittelst einer einfachen Petroleumlampe, auf welche anstatt eines Glascylinders ein doppelwandiger Metallcylinder, gestülpt ist.The present device serves the purpose of heating steam boilers with vapors, produced by evaporation of petroleum - or other liquid fuels - by means of a simple kerosene lamp, on which instead of a glass cylinder a double-walled one Metal cylinder, is turned over.

Die entwickelten Dämpfe werden mittelst eines am äufseren Cylinder B angebrachten Winkelstutzens b dem Dampfkessel zur Verbrennung zugeführt. Um eine Entzündung des flüssigen , Brennstoffes zwischen den Cylindern B und C durch einen Rückschlag der Flamme im Dampfkessel zu vermeiden, ist das Ende des Rohrstutzens b mit einem feinen Drahtnetz g versehen.
