Die in beiliegenden Zeichnungen dargestellte Erfindung betrifft eine Beschneidmaschine, deren Anordnung sich von den bereits bestehenden Constructionen wesentlich unterscheidet.The invention shown in the accompanying drawings relates to a trimming machine, the Arrangement differs significantly from the already existing constructions.

In dem Gestelltheil A, welcher mit der Auflegeplatte B verbunden ist, befindet sich, drehbar gelagert, die Hebelachse a. Auf der letzteren sitzt der Treibhebel C, das Herzstück D und die Excenterscheibe E. Letztere liegt in dem rahmenartig gestalteten Obertheil des im Gestell A geführten Messerbalkens F, wobei der mit Rollen b b versehene Wagen G die Excenterpressung auf den Messerbalken F überträgt. Bei einer Drehung des Excenters E macht der Wagen G eine seitliche Bewegung, welche jedoch nur rollende Reibung erzeugt, infolge dessen ein leichter Gang des Excenters E gesichert wird. Gleichzeitig mit dem Excenter E wird jedoch auch das Herzstück -D gedreht und dadurch der Prefsbalken abwärts bewegt. Die Stellung vom Excenter E zum Herzstück D ist so gewählt, dafs der Prefsbalken dem Messerbalken voreilt, also der zu schneidende Stofs c vorher geprefst wird, ehe das Messer M zu wirken beginnt. Um nun bei verschieden starken Schnittlagen die gleiche Wirkung, d. h. ein Voreilen des Prefsbalkens vor dem Messer zu erzielen, ist der Prefsbalken mit einer besonderen Stelleinrichtung versehen. Diese Stelleinrichtung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dafs der Prefsbalken (Fig. 7) in seinem oberen Theil, ähnlich wie der Messerbalken bei H, rahmenartig gestaltet ist, in welchem der Herzstückgleitrahmen J sich führt und relativ auf und nieder verstellt werden kann. Die Verstellung des Herzrahmens J geschieht mittelst der im Prefsbalken angebrachten Stellschraube d, ohne dafs sich dessen Hub verändert, vielmehr wird nur die Lage der unteren Prefsbalkenkante der jeweiligen Dicke des zu schneidenden Stofses angepafst. Durch die Schraube d wird demnach der durch D auf den Herzrahmen ausgeübte Druck auf den Prefsbalken H übertragen. An Stelle des viereckigen Herzrahmens J, Fig. 1 bis 6, kann auch ein solcher von keilförmiger Gestalt (siehe Fig. 8 bis 10) angeordnet werden, und findet hier die Verstellung mittelst der drei Schrauben e e und f statt. Auf der Grundplatte B, Fig. i, 2 und 6, sind zu beiden Seiten, d. h. hinter und vor dem Messer, die stellbaren Anschlagleisten L angebracht.
