Die vorliegende Neuerung an dem durch Patent No. 49747 geschützten Bücherschutzdeckel besteht in dem Ersatz des dabei angeordneten Lesezeichens durch eine Schutzklappe für die vordere Schnittfläche der Bücher. Diese Klappe erfüllt in Bezug auf das Aufpressen des Schutzdeckels auf die obere Schnittfläche den gleichen Zweck, wie das Lesezeichen des Haupt-Patentes, dient aber gleichzeitig noch zum Schliefsen der Bücher.The present innovation on the patent no. 49747 protected book cover consists in the replacement of the bookmark arranged here by a protective flap for the front cut surface of the books.
