An einem Ende jedes Streifenteils ist ein Scharnierteil d vorgesehen, der mit dem Scharnierteil e des Befestigungslappens f verbunden wird und demnach eine gegenseitige Bewegung der Teile an,den Kanten des Buchrückens g zuläßt. Der Befestigungslappen f kann aus einem Blech bestehen, daß zwei parallellaufende Lappenteile aufweist, die einen Zwischenraum bilden, der der Buchdeckelstärke entspricht. Der Befestigungslappen f kann an dem Buchdeckel auf verschiedene Art und Weise befestigt werden. Eine oder mehrere ausgestanzte Zungen lt, die sich auf der Lappenfläche foder an der Kante befinden, werden durch einen Druck in das Material der Deckelwandungen gepreßt, um dadurch eine Befestigung zu veranlassen, oder aber es kann am Ende der äußeren Befestigungslappen eine Zunge i. vorgesehen werden, die durch die Deckelwandung l und durch einen Schlitz gesteckt wird, der am inneren Befestigungslappen vorgesehen ist.
