Abstract
A filter unit (I), for the purification of air, has a number of absorbent filter elements containing activated carbon whereby the unit (I) comprises at least one first filter element (Ia) comprising particulate, preferably spherical activated carbon and at least one second filter element (Ib) comprising a combination of particulate, preferably spherical activated carbon and activated carbon fibers.
