Abstract

Electrical switch (1) in the form of a cursor or joystick has an activation member (3) that tilts in a tilt plane (16) in at least two directions. Movement of the activation element causes switching contacts to be made. The switch has a coulisse shaped control curve so that when moved by a lever (8) a switching rod (15) meshes in the control curve so that the activation member is moved in the respective direction. An independent claim is made for an electrical switch in which the switch element has an opening in the form of a coulisse shaped stop disk with an associated activation element and mechanism.
