Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittels Bekannt ist die antibakterielle Wirkung des Kupfers. Kupferverbindungen, z. B. Kupfersulfat, haben sich infolge ihrer sauren Eigenschaften als nicht geeignet erwiesen. Dasselbe gilt für Kupferlactat. Dagegen üben alkalische Kupferlösungen hohe antibakterielle und sonstige Wirkungen aus. Ammoniakhaltige weinsaure Lösungen sind bei dem hohen Preis für Weinsäure zu teuer. Andere sind ungeeignet auch wegen ihrer Zersetzlichkeit und Nebenwirkungen. Es ist nun nach dem vorliegenden Verfahren gefunden worden, daß man ein haltbares, gegen tierische und pflanzliche Schädlinge, z. B. gegen Peronospora, wirkendes Mittel herstellen kann, dem keine Nebenwirkungen anhaften, wenn man folgendermaßen verfährt Kupfer oder kupferhaltige Materialien werden mit Hilfe von Milchsäure oder milchsauren Verbindungen in Lösung gebracht; z. B. werden 3 Teile milchsaurer Kalk in Wasser gelöst und mit 2,5 Teilen Kupfersulfat - ebenfalls in Wasser gelöst - bei niedriger Temperatur zusammengebracht. Die Mengenverhältnisse können in weiten Grenzen geändert werden. Fügt man zu einer solchen Füllung, die naturgemäß entstehen muß, z. B. Natronlauge oder andere alkalisch reagierende Stoffe, so findet überraschenderweise eine dauernde Wiederauflösung statt. Gleichzeitig vollzieht sich eine deutliche Farbenänderung. Diese alkalisch reagierende Lösung - auch in partieller Form - als solche oder mit den üblichen Verdickungsmitteln evtl. bis zur Staubform versehen, kann als Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, z.
