Die bekannten Arten von Lichtreklame haben den Nachteil, daß sie infolge ihrer Gleichförmigkeit auf die Dauer nicht fesseln, und daß es nicht möglich ist, ohne kostspielige Neuanlage eine Änderung der Reklame in der Anlage vorzunehmen. Die Erfindung soll diese Nachteile der Lichtreklame beseitigen. Sie bezieht sich insbesondere auf eine elektrische Lichtreklameanlage zur Vorführung von Bewegungserscheinungen bei Zeichen, Figuren, o. dgl., die aus in mehreren Reihen angeordneten, hintereinandergeschalteten Glühlampen oder Leuchtröhren gebildet sind. Das Neue besteht darin, daß die Stromleitungen der die Umrahmung der Zeichen oder Figuren bildenden Leuchtkörperreihen zu einer aus gegeneinander isolierten Einzelkontakten gebildeten gemeinsamen Kontaktbahn geführt sind, auf der sie mittels eines Kontaktgebers, beispielsweise eines Kontaktschiebers, derart geschaltet werden, daß die Zeichen aus kleinen Abmessungen heraus bis zu einer bestimmten Größe wachsen, wieder kleiner werden, sodann von neuem wachsen, wieder klein werden usw., so daß eine lebendige, bebende Bewegung entsteht. Sind die Lichtreklamezeichen nur stellenweise von den Leuchtkörperreihen umrahmt, so wachsen die Zeichen nur nach einer oder mehreren bestimmten Richtungen, und sind die Einzelkontakte aller Kontaktbahnen untereinander durch Schaltung verbunden, so können sie durch nur einen Schieberkontakt gesteuert werden, der auf einer allen Zeichen gemeinsamen Kontaktbahn läuft. Besondere Wirkungen können noch bei Verwendung farbiger Lichter erreicht werden.
