Durch die beiden Rohre 3 und 8 führt ein Drahtseil 14, dessen oberes Ende mittels des Knopfes 15 an dem Rohr 8 befestigt ist, während das untere Ende desselben an der Fußplatte 16 angreift, welche an dem am Trommelrand i angebrachten Ausleger 17 angelenkt ist. Neben der Fußplatte 16 liegt eine zweite Fußplatte 18, welche durch ein Hiebelgestänge i9 der bekannten Art den Trommelschlägel 2o in Bewegung setzt (Abb. a). Man ist mittels dieser Anordnung in der Lage, einerseits die Trommel für sich anzuschlagen, indem man auf die Fußplatte 16 tritt, andererseits die Musikbekken für sich zum Ertönten zu bringen, indem man auf die Fußplatte 18 tritt, sowie Trommel und Musikbecken zusammen zum Anschlag zu bringen, indem der Fuß auf beide Fußplatten zugleich gesetzt wird.On the edge of the drum i, the tube 3 is fastened by means of fastening tabs a and nuts 4, 5.
