Description

Process and device for the production of so-called air or light silk from viscose It is known that poorly vented viscose is used when spinning Receives threads, which are interspersed with air bubbles, what in normal operation as Production error applies. It is also known and protected by patents that one Such threads can be created on purpose by touching the viscose with air or another Emulsified gases. However, the method suffers from the drawback that the amount of air is reduced can not dose, and that it is not possible to give the air bubbles the same size. It is also known that the viscose substances such. B. Soda, add which in the implementation generate carbonic acid with the spinning bath. However, this method also does not provide a flawless one Goods, maybe because the carbon dioxide is not evolving evenly enough.

The present method avoids the abuses described by that by electrolysis of the caustic soda the viscose oxyhydrogen gas or hydrogen directly generated before spinning. The amount of grass developed can be determined by the strength of the current precisely regulated and adapted to the viscose flow. Through pointed training of the electrodes, the gas bubbles can be kept as small as possible and of the same size will. Because it was carried away by the flowing viscose as soon as it was formed they do not have time to collapse into larger bubbles and thus irregularities to evoke in the thread. If you make sure that there is a certain inside the nozzle If there is pressure, the gas bubbles burst the wall of the after leaving the nozzle Thread and this takes on a ribbon-like shape. Little is done at the anode Oxygen is developed, as this is largely due to the oxidation of the existing, Sulfur compounds is consumed. Dües is another advantage of the process, as this reduces the hydrogen sulfide evolution that always occurs during spinning will. By reducing the current density at the anode, one can reduce the evolution of oxygen completely prevent.

The accompanying drawing shows a schematic embodiment of the method. The nozzle is denoted by a, b is a ring that carries the negative electrode tips, c another ring with the positive electrode tips.
