Description
Regulation of main trailing motors, especially for electrical operations Track vehicles It has already been proposed, in particular, when operating electrical Railways to regulate main trailing motors in such a way that one can be controlled by an additional Shunt winding weakens the field of the main shunt winding. With this rule two motors are expediently connected in series at all times, so that even when the motor is weakened Field not to get a rollover at the commutator. However, this results in the Disadvantage that when an engine is damaged, the second engine, which is now on the full voltage, assumes an impermissibly high speed. This disadvantage is resolved according to the invention in that when working with only one engine Shunt winding is switched so that it now strengthens the field instead of as before to weaken. This enables you to achieve that even when operating with only one motor no impermissible speeds can be achieved.
