Für die Güte und Haltbarkeit gashaltiger Flüssigkeiten, wie Bier u. dergl., ist es von grofsem Einflufs, dafs beim Abziehen dieser Flüssigkeiten die letztere aufnehmenden Flaschen direct nach dem Füllen mit einem Verschlufs versehen werden. Daher hat man bei Benutzung solcher Flaschen, welche mittelst eines eingeschlagenen Stopfens verschlossen werden, unbedingt zwei Personen zum Abziehen nöthig, von welchen die eine das Einfüllen der Flüssigkeit, die andere das Eintreiben der Stopfen besorgt. Aber auch bei den mit einem mechanischen Verschlufs ausgestatteten Flaschen ist es bis jetzt nicht gelungen, das Füllen und Schliefsen der Flaschen dicht hinter einander folgend mittelst einer Person zu erzielen. Denn zum Schliefsen sämmtlicher bisher bekannt gewordenen mechanischen Verschlüsse bedarf man beider Hände, so dafs demnach die füllende Person, da sie die eine Hand zum Ergreifen einer neuen Flasche verwenden mufs, nicht selbst das Schliefsen der gefüllten Flasche sofort nach dem Füllen bewirken kann.For the quality and durability of gaseous liquids such as beer and the like, it is of great influence, that when these liquids are drawn off, the latter receiving bottles be provided with a closure immediately after filling.
