Description

Weicher Stehumlegekragen. Die Erfindung betrifft einen weichen Stehumlegekragen, bei dem für Ober- und Unterkragen eine aus einem einzigen Stück bestehende Stofflage verwendet wird, und ein Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung. Dieser Stehumlegekragen kennzeichnet sich dadurch, daB der Oberkragen an sämtlichen Kanten zur Verhinderung des Ausfransens doppelt eingeschlagen ist und diejenigen Stellen, wo die Vorderränder des Oberkragens in den Unterkragen übergehen, mittels an einer inneren Stofflage des Unterkragens vorgesehener Verlängerungsstücke zu formgerechter Eckenbildung verriegelt sind.Soft turn-down collar. Die Stofflage A ist der Form des Ober- und Unterkragens entsprechend ausgeschnitten und bei a (Abb. i) an der Übergangsstelle der Vorderkanten des Oberkragens in den Unterkragen mit einem bis a1 reichenden Einschnitt versehen. Eine innere Stofflage B des Unterkragens hat an den Stellen, wo ihre Verbindung mit der äußeren Stofflage A zur Bildung des Krageneckverschlusses stattfinden soll, je ein Verlängerungsstück b. Da die Verarbeitung des Kragens an beiden Eckenstellen die gleiche ist, genügt die Erläuterung für eine Eckenstelle. Zunächst wird die innere Stofflage B in der aus Abb. i strichpunktiert angegebenen Weise auf die äußere Stofflage A gelegt, so daß ihr Punkt b1 auf den Punkt a1 der letzteren zu liegen kommt. Dann wird die Vorderkante b= des Verlängerungsstückes b an der durch den Einschnitt a1 gebildeten Querkante a2 des Oberkragens der äußeren Stofflage A angenäht, die innere Stofflage B aus der Querstellung in die normale Arbeitsstellung zur äußeren Stofflage gedreht und an dieser längs der unteren Kante und den beiden Kanten der Knopflochlasche befestigt. Durch dieses Zurückdrehen der Stofflage B ist der Stoff des Oberkragens an seinen Vorderkanten in der aus Abb.3 bei c ersichtlichen Weise einwärts gefalzt worden. Jetzt werden die miteinander vernähten Stofflagen A, B des Unterkragens derart umgestülpt, daß, wie aus Abb. 4. ersichtlich ist, die unteren Randkanten und die Kanten der Knopflochlasche einwärts zu liegen kommen, worauf der noch sichtbare Teil der Verlängerungsstücke b (in Abb. q. schraffiert angedeutet) abgeschnitten wird, während der übrige Teil dieser Verlängerungsstücke zur Verriegelung der Kragenecken d (Abb. q.) an dieser Stelle eingelegt bleibt. Schließlich werden nach Herstellung eines Einschnittes längs der Linie e die vorderen Ränder und der obere Rand des Oberkragens doppelfältig sowie auch der obere Rand der inneren Stofflage des Unterkragens einfältig eingeschlagen (Abb.5) und dann regelrecht vernäht, so daß nach Ausbügeln der Nähte nur noch der einschichtige Oberkragen längs der Oberkante des Unterkragens umgelegt zu werden braucht.The layer of fabric A is cut out according to the shape of the upper and lower collar and at a (Fig. I) at the transition point between the front edges of the upper collar and the lower collar with an incision extending to a1.
