Auf der dem Schalter gegenüberliegenden Seite der Bedienblende 1 ist als Stator eine Leiterkarte 4 angeordnet, auf der sich magnetempfindliche Sensoren 5, 6 befinden. Diese Sensoren 5, 6 sind sowohl dem Rand des Rotors 3 als auch seinem Zentrum zugeordnet. Der Rotor 3 selbst besteht aus zwei Gehäuseteilen 7, 8, wobei das erste Gehäuseteil 7 in seinem Randbereich einen Permanentmagneten 9 beinhaltet. Dieser Permanentmagnet 9 wirkt, abhängig von seiner Schalterstellung, auf die auf der Leiterkarte 4 befindlichen Sensoren 5 im Randbereich. Das zweite Gehäuseteil 8 ist mit dem ersten Gehäuseteil 7 über Federn 10 oder in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellte Gummipuffer verbunden und kann in axialer Richtung zur Bedienblende 1 hin bewegt werden. Dieses Gehäuseteil 8 nimmt in seinem Zentrum einen weiteren Permanentmagneten 11 auf, welchem auf der Leiterkarte 4 auch ein magnetempfindlicher Sensor 6 zugeordnet ist.
