Description

The object of the invention is a space-enclosing component in the form of a framework, which is assembled from individual rods arranged offset to one another. This framework consists of a rhombic, square, rectangular or parallelogram-shaped rod network, in which four truss rods are brought together in this way be that the individual rods at each end in two places with adjacent rods are connected: Each individual rod is thus at each end against a rod of the led in another direction and connected to it. Also run against him, close its ends about a quarter or a third of it Length, two more bars in the other direction, with which it is also connected. The bars thus act like beams on four supports, one at their ends and one at two are clamped in the middle supports. This makes every rod statically favorable stressed, and high strength is achieved for the entire framework. The connection of the bars in the supporting quadrangles can be done in a known manner by means of pressure urid inserts and bolts are made or by having each rod end with a Pin is provided, which is in a correspondingly designed mortise in the Insert bars in the other direction. In the drawing are in Fig. I and a in the Settlement of two half-timbered systems shown. - The system lines are dotted while the bars belonging to a supporting square are drawn with double lines .. In Fig. I the supporting quadrangles have a rhombic plan, while the half-timbered fields Are parallelograms; in Fig.: 2, both have a rhombic plan. Fig. 3 shows the formation of the support squares without the use of screws and the like Truss rods have a pin at each end, which turns into a correspondingly designed Insert the mortise of the opposite rod. In Fig.3 the cones are dovetail-shaped formed, whereby a compression and tensile strength union of the individual rods in the supporting rectangles is reached. The dovetail-shaped tappers; lie you either in attached pressure pieces D (Fig. 3a), or they protrude over the opposite one Truss in the other direction, being the same up to about half the height is dovetail cut (Fig.3b).

Figures 4 and 5 illustrate the support square design using of screws and filler pieces. In Fig.4 there are two pressure pieces for each support square a and b related, the connection is made by screws in such a way that each screw holds three truss rods. In Fig. 5 there are triangular fillers in addition to the screws a, b and c related.

PATENT CLAIM: Cantilever , flat or arched, space-enclosing component, made of the same crossing individual rods, characterized in that all four meeting rods are offset from one another on each supporting square and that each rod at each end hits a rod in the other direction while it is close to it at each end another rod in the other direction hits. The bracing at the joints takes place in a known manner by bolts and fillers or by pin engagement.
