Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an X-ray imaging device according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a device is described in US 5 008 547 as well as in DE 42 35 527 A1.
In the case of the X-ray imaging device known from DE 42 35 527 A1, a detector of an X-ray exposure machine, which is sensitive to X-rays, is additionally provided in the immediate vicinity of the fluorescent screen. Furthermore, an X-ray image device with a fluorescent screen is known from Röntgenpraxis, 1965, pages 58 to 65, to which both a receiver for the image information and a light-sensitive detector of an automatic X-ray exposure device are assigned.
The invention has for its object an X-ray imaging device of the type mentioned in such a way that an automatic Exposure control is possible.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
Details and developments of the invention result from the subclaims.
Es zeigt The invention is based on one in the drawing illustrated embodiment explained in more detail. It shows
Fig. 1 die wesentlichen Teile eines Röntgen-Mammographiegerätes zur Erläuterung des Erfindungsgedankens, und Fig. 1 shows the essential parts of an X-ray mammography device to explain the inventive concept, and
FIGS. 2 to 4 different embodiments of the image forming system in the X-ray mammography device according to Fig. 1 with a detector for exposure.
In Fig. 1 a mom 1 is shown, which is irradiated by X-rays 2 and resting on a plate 3. An X-ray image is generated on a fluorescent screen 4 , which is guided to an CCD converter 6 by an optical system 5 , preferably in the form of an optical fiber bundle. The CCD converter 6 generates electrical signals, from which an image of the irradiated area of the breast 1 is reconstructed in a known manner.
B. aus kristallinem Silizium oder amorphem Silizium (a-Si:H).To control the exposure of an X-ray generator, not shown, at least one detector 7 of an automatic exposure device is attached to the side of the luminescent screen 4 and partially also covers the system 5 . The detector 7 is designed as a thin chip, for. B. from crystalline silicon or amorphous silicon (a-Si: H).
Figs. 2 and 3 show an embodiment in which the detector 7 is formed corresponding to the plan view in Figure 2 also a thin chip and mounted laterally on the phosphor screen 4, while according to FIG 3, the optical system 8, a 1:.. 1 imaging enables, not tapered from the fluorescent screen 4 to the CCD converter 6 as in FIG. 1.
Photons that can leave the fluorescent screen 4 at its edge enter the detector 7 . Further light comes from the system 8 , but also in FIG. 1 from the system 5 to the detector 7 .
The output signal of the detector 7 is processed in the known manner and used to switch off the high voltage after the desired dose has been reached.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the optical system 9 is constructed similarly to the optical system 5 in FIG. 1, that is, it tapers towards the CCD converter 6 , so that the imaging scale is smaller than 1: 1. A flattening is provided on one side of the fluorescent screen 4 and the system 9 , on which the detector 7 is arranged. As in the previously described exemplary embodiments, it also partially covers the system 9 .
If only one detector 7 is used, it is preferably arranged on the lower side of components 4, 5, 6 or 4, 8, 6 or 4, 9, 6 in FIGS. 1 and 4, so that preferably there mostly the densest tissue is measured and the visibility of micro-lime is ensured over the entire image because there is no underexposure. The influence of direct radiation (X-rays that are not weakened by the object) or only slightly weakened X-rays in peripheral areas of the breast on the exposure time is slight.
It can be advantageous to use not just one detector 7 , but several, for safe exposure control. This ensures that even in the exceptions where the closest point of a breast is not on the "lower" side, the exposure is correct. For this purpose, the automatic exposure device must preferably select the detector with the lowest registered intensity in order to determine the exposure time.
