Description

Method of lining the inner surfaces of iron pipes with a bituminous mass. According to the Union Treaty of z. Juni igi i claimed priority on the basis of the registration in Great Britain on October 27, 19223. The invention relates to a drive to line the inner surfaces of I-isen pipes with a bituminous mass and is part of the union well-known (measures, tnn an clothes to shade that meet the requirements is equivalent to. According to the invention, the Asphalt o.lhl. and a new suitable weighting means. like silica flour, slaked lime. hieselgur o. dgL, ordering Paint size in hot working condition in the previously heated pipe is introduced and then - what for lining cement- pipes has already been proposed --- under (lein I: illtlul3 (put centrifugal force evenly on the inner curses of what remains heated Pipes: distributed, w (wauf (read pipe along with (lein inner L`1) c # rztige cooled down again ((. The created publicity sticks well and receives such a dense structure. dali the Inner jacket on the one hand stronger stress has grown, on the other hand a Melting away = the lining also liei higher warmth does not take place. what z. L: is important, real ((read I @ escliivcruns- medium thoroughly with the A.sphalt is mixed, st) (1a13 a filtering consistently uniform density will hold and this in a mixed state stays like that. The weighting means: oll iln remaining such physical properties to have. elaß e:: I put under the effect Centrifugal force does not separate from the asphalt. The following is an exemplary embodiment for the implementation of their procedure l: iutert. Asphalt is lois heated to liquefy and then with a cleaning agent from (learn the same thing, essentially the same thing Unit weight such as (lay asphalt, preferably wise hieselerdeniehl, slaked lime or Kieselguhr, ili very finely divided state, thickened, his (read the whole has become semi-liquid is. Then (read with the lining provided pipe, while (u still is turning. cooled down using @@ as @ showering. 1) 1s the Ati.skleidung erli: is irtrt. To heat the pipe you can operate a suitably long hiilire, through the z. P. Water gas passed therethrough will, uni, be emitted in burning rays inend to flush the pipe all the way down and o while (go on turning., zti heat. Elle the mixture poured into (read pipe this will be the same to about 15o0 C heated. The point of ignition of the asphalt is around 24.o ° C: the bituminous Mixture is heated up to about 2100 C, so (measure it is sufficiently fluid to be in the Flow pipe. -After the -lasse in (read pipe a brought and distributed over (-essen Lange has been, «-1r (1 (read Rohr finite power drive shot very quickly. until a circumferential speed fully reached about ci to i5 in is. The ends of the tube are inside with Rings. around the filling after the Withhold bringing in. A pipe lined in a nasty way has a clean and smooth inner surface. Since the Lining is extremely tough and adheres firmly you fiillig, via clelll `eWiilinlidlen @ Clime17_- Point of the asphalt> to withstand lying degrees of warmth without flowing off in whole or in part.

If Kieselkur is used as a weight-bearing means, then one makes use of it a mixture of 100 parts by weight of asphalt and 18.5 parts by weight Kieselguhr. -With extinguished Kalle: I have proven a mixture of 100 parts by weight Asphalt and 83.3 parts by weight of dissolved lime.
