Claims (5)

1. Fahrerinformationssystem mit einem Bildschirm in einem Kraftfahrzeug,
zur Wiedergabe von Verkehrsinformationen, wobei der Bild­ schirm im Sichtbereich eines Fahrers angeordnet ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der Bildschirm (9) auch zur Wiedergabe von TV-Unterhal­ tung (Videobild 17) ausgelegt ist,
daß über einen mechanisch betätigbaren Umschalter eine Um­ schaltung von der Wiedergabefunktion "Verkehrsinforma­ tionen" (Pfeile 16) auf die Wiedergabefunktion "TV-Unter­ haltung" (Videobild 17) erfolgt,
daß der Bildschirm (9) schwenkbar ausgeführt ist und aus einer ersten Stellung (Fig. 2) aus dem Sichtbereich des Fahrers (13; Fahrerplatz 3) in eine zweite Stellung (Fig. 1) in den Sichtbereich wenigstens eines Mitfahrers (Bei­ fahrerplatz 4) schwenkbar ist und
daß der Umschalter als Endschalter im Schwenkbereich des Bildschirms (9) liegt und bei einem Verschwenken betätigt und so angesteuert wird, daß in der ersten Stellung des Bildschirms (9) im Sichtbereich des Fahrers (13; Fahrer­ platz 3) ausschließlich auf die Wiedergabefunktion "Ver­ kehrsinformationen" (Pfeile 16) umgeschaltet ist.1. Fahrerinformationssystem nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekenn­ zeichnet, daß der Bildschirm (9) mit einem Bildschirmge­ häuse (10) in einem entsprechenden Ausschnitt (11) an einem mittleren Bereich der Schalttafel oder der Mittelkon­ sole (vorderer Konsolenbereich 7) angeordnet ist, daß das Bildschirmgehäuse (10) in dem Ausschnitt (11) um eine etwa senkrechte Achse (12) schwenkbar so gehalten ist, daß der Bildschirm (9) in der ersten Endstellung auf den Fahrerplatz (3) und in der zweiten Endstellung auf den Beifahrerplatz (4) ausgerichtet ist, wobei jeweils der Um­ schalter auf die Wiedergabefunktion "Verkehrsinformatio­ nen" (Pfeile 16) bzw. "TV-Unterhaltung" (Videobild 17) ge­ schaltet ist.2.
