Der Gegenstand der Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Umspulen von Filmen. Bei solchen Einrichtungen handelt es sich bekanntlich darum, daß die einzelnen Lagen des Films nicht allein straff aufeinander, sondern auch wohlgeordnet übereinander zu liegen kommen. Umgespulte Filme, die diesen Anforderungen nicht entsprechen, sind für Versand, Transport und Vorführung untauglieh. Während man anfänglich die Umspulung in primitiver Weise zwischen zwei Scheiben vornahm, ohne damit befriedigende Resultate zu erzielen, ist man neuerdings dazu übergegangen, die einzelnen Filmlagen durch gewichtsbelastete Rollen mit seitlich übergreifenden Führungsflanschen aufeinanderzupressen und zu ordnen. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß nicht in der bloßen Anordnung einer gewichtsbelasteten Führungsrolle die Lösung des Problems gleichmäßiger und straffer Aufspulung des Films liegt, sondern vorwiegend darin, daß der Film mit »Spannung oder Straffung« aufgespult wird, wobei die seitliche Führung des aufzuspulenden Films aufrechterhalten werden muß.
