Abstract
Description
The enema for cleaning the intestine is an ancient folk medicine. On the one hand simple, so-called irrigators are used for this, but also very much elaborate and expensive machine-working devices that multiple rinsing of the intestine, even in higher sections, under visual control Dishwashing products. Common feature of these systems is a two-way tap, which on the one hand allows the irrigation fluid to enter the intestinal tube, on the other hand, the outflow of the rinsing products into a collecting container or into the Toilet. For the irrigators, this is either a simple twist lock Stop the irrigation fluid attached directly to the end of the intestinal tube, or but a two-way valve, the locking cylinder of which is also transverse to the Longitudinal direction of the intestinal tube is moved, but has two disadvantages: The manipulation in the immediate vicinity of the intestinal opening is conceivable becomes unsanitary and the rotational movement transverse to the longitudinal direction of the intestinal tube with painful intestinal exit (e.g. hemorrhoids) often as very felt uncomfortable. The expensive mechanical devices have this disadvantage not due to temperature regulation and control of the flow of the rinsing liquid in the device are integrated, but there is a longer hose path greater dead space in the movement of the washing liquid.
In naturopathic medicine, therapy is also frequently practiced Intestinal insufflation with an ozone-oxygen mixture. There is scientific work that has been astonishingly successful in hepatitis and other viral diseases (Knoch, H.-G., OzoNachrichten 6, 1987, Issue 1/2) to report. The ozone-oxygen gas is largely through the capillaries in the Intestinal mucosa and leads to an increased Oxygen partial pressure in the portal vein circuit, which improves the Liver performance leads (Aubourg, P., Ozone in surgery, Mem. Acad. Chir. 65,1940, 1183-1192). The process itself is easy and safe to use. But it has the disadvantage that the gas hits the intestine filled with excrement, what not infrequently leads to colic-like emptying, but also to that with the Intestinal contents contaminated mucous membranes, causing it to function as a lymphogenic and hematogenous stimulation of various metabolic and Immunization processes can only poorly fulfill.
The method to be proposed not only eliminates the disadvantages of the above described common systems of colonic irrigation, but also connects these Form of colon cleansing followed by ozone-oxygen insufflation the intestine. It also has the decisive advantage that for Colonic irrigation fresh ozonated water can be used, not only that Preference of a germ reduction, but also by the saturation with Ozone has the advantage of increasing the partial oxygen pressure in the Rinsing liquid and a change in the redox potential to the oxidative side, with which a favorable influence on the intestinal flora can be achieved our current diet often with anaerobes and other pathogens Intestinal flora has moved.
Für das Verfahren eignen sich (Vorschalt-) Geräte, wie sie für die sog. hyperbare Ozontherapie Verwendung finden, da diese bereits alle Steuerungsmechanismen wie Aufsaugen der Spülflüssigkeit, Ozonosieren derselben und Reinfusion unter steuerbarem Druck in sich vereinigen.(Ballast) devices such as those for the so-called hyperbaric are suitable for the method Ozone therapy is used because it already has all control mechanisms such as sucking up the rinsing liquid, ozonating it and reinfusing it unite controllable pressure.
The decisive detail in the innovation is a two-way valve on the inlet opening ( 3 ) of which a flexible intestinal tube ( 4 ) is either attached or screwed on. The rinsing liquid is supplied via the nozzle ( 1 ). After running in, the handwheel with the obliquely cut locking cylinder ( 5 ) is turned through 180 °, so that the feed opening ( 1 ) is closed and the outlet opening ( 2 ) is opened. Since such a rotary valve can be made absolutely tight on the one hand without great technical outlay, and on the other hand the control movement for supply and discharge takes place in the longitudinal direction of the intestinal tube, its use is both hygienic and not uncomfortable in the case of a painful intestinal exit. The drain opening ( 2 ) of the valve is preferably set obliquely at an angle of 135 ° to the pipe longitudinal axis and away from the inlet opening ( 3 ), in order to ensure that the flushing products run off properly. The rotatable wedge-shaped locking cylinder also has the advantage that the flushing products flow away because of its obliquely cut surface, it prevents clogging.
With a sufficient length of the inlet nozzle ( 3 ) and partial or complete design of the rotary valve made of transparent plastic material, a sight glass can also be dispensed with, as it is built into flushing devices for visual inspection of the flushing products. If the wedge-shaped rotary cylinder ( 5 ) is made hollow and closed with a peg-shaped push-on cap ( 6 ), medication that can be administered via the intestine can simultaneously be introduced into the intestinal lumen with the last rinsing liquid, which can remain in the intestine in smaller quantities , which ensures a much better absorption via the cleaned rectum. If the diameter of the bore is large enough and the intestinal tube is designed accordingly, a Coloscop (optical device for inspecting the intestine) can also be inserted into the cleaned intestinal lumen after rinsing, with the corresponding advantage of improved visual inspection.
Such a combined gas-water intestinal flushing is described as follows: from the open reservoir A, the flushing liquid is sucked through the line ( 7 ) into the closed ozonization container B, with a vacuum under line ( 8 ) through the 0₃ generator in the suction position is generated in container B. After ozonization by the device for hyperbaric ozone therapy via the line ( 8 ), the rinsing liquid is conducted via the lines ( 9 ) at regulated pressure to the nozzle 1 of the rotary valve. The lines ( 7 ), ( 8 ) and ( 9 ) are customary infusion extension lines with roll closures, such as those offered by the medical technology industry. The described structure offers the decisive advantage that alternate suction, ozonization and infusion with subsequent wake-up of small amounts of the ozone-oxygen mixture via the lines ( 9 a) and ( 9 b), which can be optionally closed, that colon irrigation and ozone insufflation can take place alternately several times in succession.
Eine derartig kombinierte Therapie mit wiederholter Darmspülung und Ozoninsufflation birgt mehrere Vorteile:Such a combined therapy with repeated colonic irrigation and Ozone insufflation has several advantages:
The previous rinsing process not only empties the intestinal contents, but also cleared the intestinal mucosa so far from excrement that the subsequent ozone-oxygen insufflation with much higher effectiveness can be done (see above).
The rinsing process can be repeated several times in succession, so that too adherent excrement residues can be removed from the intestine.
Colon wash and ozone insufflation can alternate one after the other be carried out so that the pressure of the gas accelerated expulsion of the Rinsing liquid promotes. This alone becomes an expensive machine washing machine with suction pump unnecessary.
The two-way rotary valve can be made out of whole or as a cheap disposable item partially clear plastic can be made for a visual inspection of the To enable rinsing processes. The necessary and sometimes questionable Sterilization of the usual inlet spout with a two-way tap there is no need to put on the intestinal tube.
