Description
Vorrichtung zum Trocknen von Glaubersalz o. dgl. Gegenstand .der vorliegenden Erfindung betrifft eine Verbesserung des Verfahrens, Glaubersalz seines Kristallwassers und anhaftenden Wassers zu entkleiden gemäß dem Hauptpatent 398o¢8. Das Wesen dieses Hauptpatentes besteht darin, daß das betreffende Salz in kontinuierlichem Betrieb nach vorheriger Erwärmung sich bewegenden Flächen, wie insbesondere einem Drehrohrofen, zugeführt wird, der von innen oder außen er= hitzt werden kann. Die Erfahrung hat nun folgendes gelehrt: Es ist für das einwandfreie Arbeiten des Verfahrens von Wichtigkeit, daß die gesättigte Lösung in dem Rohr, aus dem sie in den eigentlichen Drehrohrofen fließt, stets auf einer Temperatur von ungefähr 30° vorgewärmt und gleichmäßig auf dieser Temperatur erhalten bleibt, da sie bei dieser Temperatur den höchsten Sättigungsgrad hat. Bei der Vorrichtung, die zur Ausführung des Verfahrens in dein Hauptpatent erläutert und beschrieben ist, besteht die Gefahr, daß das salzzuführende Rohr bei mangelnder Erwärmung des Drehofens abkühlt oder aber infolge des entwickelnden Dampfes höhere Temperaturen als 3o° annimmt. Beides soll durch die vorliegende Erfindung beseitigt werden, und zwar dadurch, daß um das eigentliche Salzzuführungsrohx ein Schutzmantel gegen eintretende Abkühlung oder zu starke Erwärmung gelegt wird mit dem Effekt, das zugeführte Salz in flüssiger Lösung, also auf einer Temperatur von etwa 3o° zu erhalten.Device for drying Glauber's salt o.
