Vorrichtung zum Zuführen des Strohes für Maschinen zur Herstellung von Strohseilen, insbesondere Garbenbändern. Die Erfindung hat eine Verbesserung und weitere Vervollkommnung der durch Patent 335i 5o geschützten Vorrichtung zum Zuführen des Strohes zur Herstellung von Strohseilen, insbesondere Garbenbändern, zum Gegenstand, bei welcher unter den Rinnen des Zufuhrkastens endlose Transportketten gelagert sind, welche mittels Federzungen Schlitze der Rinnen durchsetzen und mit über den Rinnen angeordneten Leitschienen derart zusammenwirken, daß sie durch diese zum bündelweisen Erfassen des Strohes einander genähert werden, die Strohbündel den Einlauföffnungen der Maschine zuleiten, an diesen beim Austritt aus den Leitschienen aber wieder auseinanderfedern und dadurch die zugeführten Strohbündel freigeben.Device for feeding straw for manufacturing machines of straw ropes, especially sheaves. Die Vorrichtung zum Zuführen des Strohes besteht aus zwei Rinnen d, e, welche sich an die Einlaufkanäle a, b der zum Herstellen der Garbenbänder dienenden Maschine in gleicher Höhe anschließen. Über den Zufuhrrinnen d, e befinden sich die endlosen Förderbänder g, an deren Gliedern Kämme i an flachen Stielen z befestigt sind. Die Kämme stehen etwas schräg zur Zugrichtung und bezüglich dieser leicht nach vorn geneigt. Je ein Kammpaar ist durch eine Querschiene 3 miteinander verbunden, in deren Mitte ein Ausleger ¢ mit einer Laufrolle 5 angeordnet ist, welche auf einer Längsschiene 6 abrollt, wodurch ein Verkanten und Verdrehen der Kämme vermieden wird. Vor den Zufuhrrinnen d, e befinden sich die beiden Kästen 7, 8 zur Aufnahme des 'Strohes. Am Boden der Kästen sind Winkeleisen g lose eingelegt, deren lotrechte Schenkel g,', mit Seilzügen i o verbunden sind, deren Enden über Rollen i i geführt und mit einem Gewicht i a beschwert sind, so daß das in die Kästen eingebrachte Stroh angehoben und mit den Halmenden gegen die Rollen 14 angepreßt wird, die an den Stirnseiten der Zufuhrkästen d;, e angebracht sind. Um das Einbringen des Strohes in die Kästen zu erleichtern, ist der Kastendeckel und die nach außen gelegene Seitenwand um Scharniere aufklappbar. Der flache Stiel z der Kämme i ist mit einen bis nahe an die Wurzel der Kammzähne reichenden Schlitz 15 versehen, in welchem die ein Plattenpaar 16 zusammenhaltenden Bolzen 17 geführt sind. Diese Plattenpaare 16 dienen als Abstreifer für den Kamm und gleiten auf den lotrechten, den Kammstiel a zwischen sich aufnehmenden Rinnenstegen 18, während der der oberen Querschnittsform der Zufuhrrinne angepaßte Kamm innerhalb derselben gleitet. Beim Austritt des Kammes aus der Rinne fällt der Abstreifer 16 unter dem Einflusse seines Eigengewichtes nach unten und drückt das vom Kamm erfaßte und geförderte Stroh aus diesem heraus.
