Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Schutzvorrichtung gegen Verlust und Diebstahl der Brieftasche u. dgl. unter Verwendung von Widerhaken, die durch einen beweglichen Teil abgedeckt und unschädlich gemacht werden. Bei der Schutzvorrichtung nach dem Hauptpatent 375396 besteht der Nachteil, daß der als Widerhaken wirkende Teil an der Brieftasche in seiner Sicherungsstellung ständig mit dem Futter der Rocktasche in Berührung kommt, wodurch infolge der Widerhaken der Schutzvorrichtung eine Beschädigung des Rocktaschenfutters durch die Bewegungen der Brieftasche innerhalb der Rocktasche stattfindet. Dieser Nachteil wird durch die Erfindung dadurch behoben, daß der als Widerhaken wirkende Teil auf der Brieftasche als einarmiger Hebel unter der Wirkung seiner Schwerkraft ausschwingend angelenkt ist, und daß der an sich bekannte, die Widerhaken abdeckende Schieber mit einem gewichtbelasteten, in seiner tiefsten Stellung über den untersten Rand der Brieftasche hinausragenden Ansatz versehen ist. Wenn sich die Brieftasche in der Rocklasche befindet, dann deckt der Schieber die Widerhaken der Schutzvorrichtung ab, so daß diese nicht mit dem Rocktaschenfutter in Berührung kommen können. Bei einer widerrechtlichen Entnahme der Brieftasche gleitet der unter der Wirkung der Schwerkraft stehende Schieber nach unten, wodurch der Widerhakenhebel freigegeben wird, welcher ebenfalls unter Wirkung der Schwerkraft aus der Ebene der Brieftasche herausklappt und sich mit der Spitze gegen die innere Wandung des Rocktaschenfutters abstützt. Der mit dem Gewicht versehene Schieber kann in einer den Widerhakenhebel abdeckenden Stellung verriegelt werden. Da der untere Rand 3 der Brieftasche auf dem Rockfutterboden aufruht und der Schieber 7 in der obengenannten Stellung mit der unteren Kante 3 der Brieftasche abschließt, bleibt der Widerhakenhebel geschützt unter dem Schieber 7 liegen, so daß keine Beschädigung des Rockfutters eintreten kann. Wird nun versucht, die Brieftasche aus der Rocktasche herauszuziehen, dann bewegt sich der Schieber 7, geführt durch die Schienen 8, auf der Platte 2 in Richtung des Pfeiles D, bedingt durch die Schwerkraftwirkung des unteren Teiles 9 des Schiebers, und der Widerhakenhebel 4 wird freigegeben.
