Abstract

Discharge lamps (4) having shock absorbers are new where the commercially available lamps have connectors having silicone rubber shock absorbers. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for lamps having glass outer tubes (1) mounted in floodlights on machines and which are subjected to severe vibration which can cause breaks at the pinched base (3) of the connections. The sheath prevents damage due to vibration.

Description

Diese Lampen sollen in Scheinwerfern auf Maschinen mit starken Erschütterungsbeschleunigungen und Schwingungen montiert werden. Es hat sich in der Praxis gezeigt, daß die Anschlüsse (3) an den Enden der Lampe durch besonders starke Stöße und Schwingungen aus dem Quetschfuß (2) herausbrechen. Es werden handelsübliche Lampen mit Anschlüssen an gegenüberliegenden Enden mit den Normfassungen, z.B. 1. Entladungslampe mit Stoßabsorber dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß handelsübliche Entladungslampen an den Anschluß­ enden mit einem Stoßabsorber aus Silikonkautschuk versehen werden.1.
