Die Fläche der Flügel muß zur Erreichung einer ausreichenden Klebehaftung groß genug sein. Durch Andrücken der Flügel auf die Wandfläche klebt die Dose und kann sofort verschaltet werden. Die Zeitersparnis ist beträchtlich. Sie wirkt sich vor allem bei größeren Objekten mit einer Vielzahl von zu setzenden Unterputzdosen durch eine ins Gewicht fallende Zeit- und damit Lohnkostenersparnis aus. Die Klebemethode kann bei allen üblichen Arten von Mauerwerk gleichermaßen angewandt werden, was z. B. bei der Nagelmethode nicht der Fall ist.
