Abstract

The sheets (6) are fed (7) between rollers (5) to the delivery device (3) pivoted about pins (11) on a first horizontal axis (12). Pairs of friction bails (13) on two parallel shafts (14, 15) are pivotable with the delivery device (3). The gear train (17a, 18, 19) is driven by a motor on the shaft (21) of a feed roller (5). The device can pivot within angles of 45 deg. downward and 60 deg. upward from the horizontal about a second axis (26) so that in all positions the bails (13) are held at optimal distances from the feed rollers (5) as the rocket arms (23) and catches (28) rotate.
