Abstract
A device for discharging moist air from a domestic laundry dryer with a resiliently extensible pipe connectable between a housing discharge opening and a ventilation opening in a room wall, comprises a receptacle for the pipe formed as a rigid tubular sleeve and two coupling rings on the pipe ends and having on their outer surfaces quick-coupling formations for securing to the receptacle ends. The pipe ends have second formations allowing one end to be secured to the dryer discharge outlet and the other to a diffuser or a ventilation passage in a room wall. The formations are pref. pins for engaging slots in the sleeve, dryer or diffuser/passage. The receptacle pref. has longitudinal ribs to facilitate its handling and to act as anchors when it is installed permanently in a wall to act as a ventilation passage.
