Abstract

In a method for washing and drying motor vehicles the following steps are used in succession: the entire vehicle surface is sprayed mechanically with water, optionally with the addition of dirt-loosening agents, a cleaning foam is applied mechanically to the vehicle surface, the vehicle surface is cleaned manually using a brush, a sponge, a washing glove or the like to rub the cleaning foam over the vehicle surface, water is sprayed mechanically onto the vehicle surface to rinse off the remaining cleaning foam and the loosened dirt, and the vehicle surface is dried mechanically.

Description

Bei der Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens wer den alle zeitraubenden und zum Teil schmutzigen Arbeiten maschinell ausgeführt. Lediglich das eigentliche Waschen des Fahrzeuges erfolgt gemäß Verfahrensschritt c) von Hand. Da vorher der Reinigungsschaum maschinell auf die Fahr zeugoberfläche aufgetragen wurde und auch noch auf der Fahrzeugoberfläche haftet, steht ausreichend Feuchtigkeit zur Verfügung, so daß mittels der von Hand geführten Bürste, des Schwammes oder eines Waschhandschuhes, der Schaum nur verrieben zu werden braucht. Die chemische schmutzlösende Wirkung des Schaumes wird durch die Bürste oder dgl. mecha nisch unterstützt und somit der Schmutz unter größtmögli cher Lackschonung von der Fahrzeugoberfläche gelöst. Da während des Waschvorganges kein Auftrag von Reinigungs schaum erforderlich ist und der bereits auf der Fahrzeug oberfläche vorhandene Reinigungsschaum nur verrieben wer den muß, kann diese Arbeit von Hand rasch durchgeführt werden und eine Beschmutzung der Bekleidung ist nicht zu befürchten. Mit dem neuen Verfahren können auch empfind liche Kraftfahrzeuge, insbesondere solche älterer Bauart, gewaschen und getrocknet werden, ohne daß die Gefahr einer Beschädigung oder eines Abreißens von Teilen besteht.
