Abstract
Description
The invention relates generically to a non-woven textile web made of thermoplastic material - with at least one spunbonded nonwoven layer and at least one cover which has openings, the spunbonded layer produced by heated embossing rollers of a calender, having composite welds of its plastic fibers arranged according to a predetermined pattern, and the cover being materially bonded sig is combined with the spunbonded layer. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a textile web. The composite welds can be arranged in a punctiform manner or can run linearly. - The plastic fibers of the spunbond layer can be continuous fibers or staple fibers. The term integral connection denotes the fact that there is a welded connection between the cover and individual plastic fibers. A textile web of at least one spunbonded layer is permeable to air and water permeable. The permeability depends on the specific basis weight of the spunbonded nonwoven web. It is not readily possible to make the equipment in the manufacture of such a spunbonded web so that the finished textile web is air-permeable but not water-permeable.
In the production of the generic (known from practice) Textile web is initially a spunbonded nonwoven web with the Verbundver welds. The cover is subsequently laminated on. The openings in the cover are macroscopic openings and influence the air permeability as well as the water permeability generally not. On the other hand, practice requires e.g. B. for the medical or hygienic use of such textile webs, good air permeability but water impermeability.
The invention has for its object a generic text train tilbahn so that it has good air permeability is practically impermeable to water. The invention also lies the task of specifying a method with which such Textile web can be produced in a particularly simple manner.
To achieve this object, the invention teaches that the cover consists of a thin plastic film that has a thickness in the range of 1 to 30 microns, that the plastic film is united in the area of welded joints with the spunbond layer and that the openings made of microscopic ( there are cracks in the transition area between the points of union of the plastic film with the spunbond layer and the other plastic film. The union points can be expanded to areas. The cracks form fine slits. You can, especially when using the method for the manufacture of the textile web described below, easily adjusted so that the cracks function as air exchange openings, but are impermeable to liquid water, even in the finest droplets. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cracks in the plastic film have a maximum length of 1 mm, specifically in surface areas of a maximum of 1 mm 2 . According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cracks further have, when viewed microscopically, a frayed edge and film tabs or film fibers projecting into the crack opening.
The invention takes advantage of the fact that to manufacture a textile web, on the one hand in the manner described from at least one Spunbonded layer and on the other hand consists of a cover, it does not require coverage before merging with the Spunbonded layer to be provided with punched perforations or the like. Punched perforations or the like lead to macroscopic openings conditions that allow not only air but also liquid to pass through. The invention takes advantage of the fact that when the cover consists of a thin plastic film in the specified manner and if the plastic film in the area of the composite welds is cohesively combined with the spunbond layer, openings in Form of fine cracks in the transition area between the clubs junction points or areas of association of the plastic film and the Spunbonded layer arise, which has sufficient air permeability ensure, but are impermeable to water. Object of the inven manure is also a method for producing such a nonge weave textile web, initially a single or multi-layer spinning fleece made of continuous fibers or staple fibers and this through a calender is passed through. The procedure is thereby characterized in that together with the spunbonded nonwoven and / or on the underside a plastic film with a film thickness of 1 to 30 µm the calender is inserted, in contact with the upper surface profiling of the calender roll, and that the calendering temperature and the calendering pressure are set so that in the plastic film in the transition area between the union score the plastic film with the spunbond layer and the rest Plastic sheeting creates fine cracks, which are described in the Way work. - It is understood that it is not necessary is to insert the plastic film separately into the calender. The Spunbond can also be placed on the plastic film or on others Be provided with the plastic film.
Es zeigen in schematischer DarstellungIn the following, the invention is based on only one embodiment Example illustrating the drawing explained in more detail. It show in a schematic representation

Fig. 3 is a section in direction A by the subject matter of FIG. 1.
The system shown in Fig. 1 is used to produce a non-woven textile web. It consists of a first machine unit gat 1 , which produces a single or multi-layer spunbond web 2 from end loose fibers of the staple fibers. The system also consists of a second machine unit, a calender 3 , through which the spunbonded nonwoven web 2 is passed. The calender 3 has an upper and a lower calender roll 4 and 5 , which are heated to calendering temperature. One of the calender rolls, in the example from the lower 5 , has a surface profile made of male-like protruding shaping elements 6 for the composite welds 7 , which have already been described above and to which reference is made to FIG. 3. The spunbonded nonwoven web 2 is calibrated in the calender 3 using the calendering pressure and the calendering heat and provided with the composite weldings 7 . Together with the spunbonded nonwoven web 2 , a plastic film 8 with a film thickness of 1 to 30 μm is introduced into the calender 3 on the upper side, namely in contact with the surface profile of the calender roll 4 . The plastic film 8 connects in the area of the composite welds 7 with the spunbonded web 2 at special union points 9 , the calibration temperature and the calibration pressure are set so that the plastic film 8 in the transition area between the union points 9 of the plastic film 8 with the spunbonded web 2 and the other plastic film Form microscopic cracks 10 or slits. In this way, air exchange openings are created, while these cracks 10 are completely impermeable to liquid water.
The design of the finished textile web with respect to these measures and features can be seen in particular from FIGS. 2 and 3. Here the cracks or slits 10 are drawn exaggeratedly large for reasons of scale. They may have a maximum length of 1 mm. It was indicated that, when viewed microscopically, the slits 10 show a frayed edge and have film lugs or film fibers 11 protruding into the slit, which contribute to the impermeability to water. In this respect, the impermeability to water is a surface tension effect.
