Abstract

The appts. comprises a housing defining a tray receiving channel, and with one open face in communication with the channel to permit access to the channel and a second face with a contact accessing for providing interconnection access. A tray for receipt of the electronic component is dimensioned for slidable insertion into the channel and has a first extent including several contacts alignable with the contact accessing device of the housing. A second extent includes an exteriorly opening cavity for removably receipt of the component. The contacts of the first extent are electrically engageable with the electronic component.
