Description

Process for the production of an artificial manure. Subject of Invention is a method for producing a liquid fertilizer, which is about or natural manure is equivalent. and hence the name of an artificial Manure earned. The method is based on the fact that a mixture of a lot of water, Legumes (especially lupine meal), straw meal, soil and sodium bicarbonate with natural manure or with pure cultures of those contained in natural manure Inoculates groups of bacteria and digests them for a while at elevated temperatures.

It has been suggested several times -, water-soluble fertilizers produced by bacterial decomposition of carbon and nitrogen rich waste; but the aqueous extracts of such fertilizers do not have the character of natural ones Liquid manure because .the bacteria are not developed under conditions similar to those that of natural manure. As is known, a mixture of peat meal and molasses mash with pure cultures or one made from decomposed horse manure with diluted stillage to inoculate produced bacterial solution in order to finally produce a spreadable fertilizer which contains nitrogen, potash, phosphorus and lime soluble in water. The bacteria that are important for the introduction and transport of the bottom cooking are in this process not killed, but not increased significantly either. A Water soluble fertilizer has also been obtained by treating peat with a bacterial culture, which .by introducing fertile soil into a mixture is made of water, dextrin, nutrient salts, and broth. This will not more water is applied than is required to wet the peat, and one obtains a dry fertilizer, the aqueous extract of which can also be used for fertilization, but also does not have the character of a natural liquid manure.

The method which forms the subject of the invention is a Incubation process in which the composition of the nutrient medium, the amount of liquid and the temperature is chosen to be more natural when a small amount is used Liquid manure or: the corresponding pure cultures six to seven times the amount of an artificial one Slurry is obtained. The procedure is carried out as follows.

In a spacious wooden tub equipped with a heating coil, the following are entered one after the other: Water . :. . . . . . . . . 970 kg, Lupine meal. . . . . . . io - Straw meal. . . . . . . . . io - Earth . . . . . . . . . . . . io - Sodium bicarbonate. . . . i - Slurry vaccination. . . . . . . 15 -. The liquid is heated to 45 to q.8 ° by introducing steam or, if such is available, exhaust steam and kept at this temperature for about 48 hours with frequent stirring. Already after @q. Hours the liquid is characterized as manure, and after 48 hours the bacterial flora is complete: icl # eltr - the liquid now has the property of a natural manure, and ammonia formation begins.

About 3 cbm of liquid manure is needed to irrigate% ha of land. With orderly Crop rotation management this irrigation should only be repeated every four to five years, do freshen up the bacterial flora of the soil.
