Die Einheiten können dabei in Form von Schubfächern aus dem Gehäuse herausgezogen werden, wobei deren Zugang elektronisch gesteuert wird. Auch wenn entsprechende Tresore die Größe von z. B. eines standardmäßigen Schreibtischunterbaus aufweisen können, so ist deren Handhabung umständlich, da die verschließbaren Aufnahmeeinheiten übereinander in verschiedenen Ebenen angeordnet sind, so daß eine Bedienungsperson die einzelnen Schubfächer nur in einer mehr oder weniger gebückten Haltung betätigen kann. Da jeder Aufnahmeeinheit erwähntermaßen eine gesonderte Verschlußeinrichtung z. B. Hierdurch ergibt sich eine erhebliche Erhöhung der Sicherung der in dem erfindungsgemäßen Tresor deponierten Wertgegenstände wie Münzen, Geldscheine o. ä., da stets nur eine Aufnahmeeinheit über die Öffnung zugänglich ist. Sollte diese z. B. aufgebrochen werden, so kann nur eine Aufnahmeeinheit entleert werden, ohne daß die anderen gleichzeitig zugänglich sind.
