Description
Verfahren zum Beheizen von periodisch betriebenen Öfen mit Generatorgas. Bei Beheizung periodisch betriebener Ofen mit Generatorgas, z. B. Rundöfen zum Brennen von Porzellan oder rheinischen Ofen zum Brennen von Röhren, bietet die Anheizperiode die meisten Schwierigkeiten. - Diese zu verkürzen und die Beheizung wirksamer zu gestalten, ist Zweck der Erfindung. Sie besteht darin, daß das unter Druck zugeführte Generatorgas die Verbrennungsluft durch Rekuperatorkanäle, die in der Ofensohle oder Ofenwand oder im. Rauchfang vorgesehen sind, und darauf noch um die Feuerschächte selbst geführt sind, ansaugt. Dadurch steht bereits kurz nach dem Anheizen heiße Luft zur Verbrennung zur Verfügung. Durch die saugende Wirkung des einströmenden Druckgases läßt sich außerdem viel mehr Gas auf engem Raum verbrennen und in Verbindung mit der gleich Anfangs zur Verfügung stehenden heißen Luft rasch eine stabile Flamme und hohe Temperatur erreichen. Die Druckgasflamme besitzt außerdem eine weitgehende Selbstregelung, da sie sich automatisch die erforderliche Luftmenge ansaugt. Sie besitzt den weiteren Vorteil, daß alle Brenner am Ofen gemeinsam durch Regelung des Gasdruckes in gleicher Weise beeinflußt werden können. Rekuperatorkanäle, die in der Ofenwand oder im Rauchwege .liegen, sind ;n sich bekannt; ebenso die Brenner umgebende Lufterhitzungskanäle.
