Abstract

The structure represented in the drawings enables the roof to be fitted with rigid-foam heat insulation between the rafters. This structure produces a standardised, stable, permanently functional, space-saving and cost-effective heat insulation for the roof. In order to insulate the differently sized spaces, which inevitably result from the roof construction, between the rafters the rigid-foam insulating panel must be composed of two parts with a compensating piece, in the longitudinal direction of the space between the rafters. The differently sized spaces between the rafters can only be insulated by the rigid-foam insulating panels composed of two parts. The rigid-foam insulating panels are fastened on both sides of the rafters by introducing PU-foam into the conical slots made in the rigid-foam insulating panel. The PU-foam exhibits an outstanding bonding characteristic on wood and on the insulating panel. All three foam-introducing steps, which are necessary for mounting, and the inherent elasticity of the insulating panel compensate for any possible shrinkage of the rafters.

Die Dämmplattenteile können so dem Verlauf des Sparren angeglichen werden.
