Wenn es bisher auch gelungen war; kleine Tiegel, Rohre und Formstücke aus Zirkon zu erzeugen, so scheiterte die Erzeugung in dem Augenblick; wenn größere Formstücke in Frage kamen. Man hat nach dieser Richtung hin die größten Anstrengungen gemacht, jedoch waren diese bislang ohne Erfolg.
