Description
Process for the preparation of solutions of great adhesive strength from such Artificial rubbers on the market that are in the usual solvents are difficult or imperfectly soluble, or their solutions do not have sufficient adhesive strength own. While the natural rubber in gasoline, benzene, solvent naphthia, Carbon tetrachloride etc. solve without difficulty and so a usable adhesive solution can be obtained, this is with some commercially available varieties of artificial Rubber is not the case. These dissolve only imperfectly in the solvents mentioned and extremely slowly, and the solution thus obtained is insufficient Adhesive strength z. B. required for making boxes from individual plates is. The present invention is a method from the mentioned artificial Types of rubber to quickly produce solutions that have a high adhesive strength. It is based on the new observation that this type of chew is one of your natural ones -Rubber equivalent solubility obtained in the usual solvents, and that the solutions prepared in this way have a good bond strength when said Rubber grades to a temperature that at least reaches their melting point in Air can be heated at a pressure of about one atmosphere, being in to an evenly translucent fabric. The ornamental driving therefore exists in a previous heating under the circumstances mentioned and the subsequent one Solution 'in the usual solvents. Heating can be done on hot plates, in Trokkenschräilken; Vülkanisationskessel with indirect steam supply etc. happen. For example, the artificial rubber. rolled out into a thin fur and heated on a hot plate to about 14o ° until it is translucent. After this When cooling, the product is cut into small pieces and in the usual way Gasoline or any other suitable means.
