Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Disazofarbstoffen für Wolle. Es ist bereits bekannt, daß 4 - 4'-.Diaminobenzophenon sich tetrazotieren läßt, und daß seine Tetrazoverbindung mit Phenol, mit Dimethylanilin oder Naphtylamin, mit Resorcin oder Xylidin bzw. mit den Sulfosäuren dieser Körper sich zu symmetrischen Disazofarbstoffen zu vereinigen vermag (Patentschrift 39g58). Diese Farbstoffe, die als substantive Baumwollfarbstoffe gedacht waren, besitzen als solche keinen technischen Wert, da sie von Baumwolle nur schwierig fixiert werden (vgl. Fried, länder, Fortschritte der Teerfarbenfabrikation, Bd.I, S.528). Aber auch als Wollfarbstoffe sind die bisher dargestellten Kombinationen mangels genügender Echtheit ohne Bedeutung. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß speziell die bisher nicht beschriebenen, unsymmetrischen Disazofarbstoffe, die man durch Kupplung von tetrazotiertem 4 - 4'-Diaminobenzophenon mit i Mol. ß-Naphtol und i Mol. einer beliebigen Naphtoldisulfosäure erhalten kann, Wolle aus saurem Bade in außerordentlich klaren Scharlachnuancen anfärben, die sich durch ganz hervorragende Echtheitseigenschaften, insbesondere auch durch vorzügliche Wasch-, Walk- und Lichtechtheit auszeichnen. ' Beispiel. Die aus 2i,2 Teilen 4 - 4'-Diaminobenzophenon in üblicher Weise hergestellte Tetrazolösung wird mit einer kalten, wäßrigen Lösung von 34,8 Teilen 2 - 6 - 8-naphtoldisulfosaurem Natrium versetzt; dann gibt man unter gutem Rühren und Eiskühlung Sodalösung bis zur schwach alkalischen Reaktion allmählich zu.
