Abstract

The trailer, with either one or two axles consists of a platform and four side walls joined together by a metal frame, built from U-shaped sections. One of these sections fits over the edge of the floor panel (4), with the section legs (5,6) gripping the lower and upper surfaces and the section base (7) abutting against the panel edge (8). The side panels (3) have the sections attached in a similar manner, but with a space between the panel edge and section base. This space accommodates a nut (10) which is welded to the section base and receives a floor fixing bolt.
