Wenn man diese Lösungen, gleichgültig, ob sie bei vermindertem, gewohnlichem oder gesteigertem Druck hergestellt sind; von einem Teil der als Lösungsmittel verwendeten Steinkohlenteeröle befreit und f die zurückbleibende Masse als Bindemittel verwendet, so gelingt es, mit wesentlich geringeren Mengen voll Bindemitteln auszukommen, als wenn man Pech o. dgl. anwendet. Man kann die Lösung der Kohle auch mit so geringen Mengen hochsiedender Steinkohlenteeröle oder mit den hochsiedenden Teeranteilen ausführen, daß eine geschmolzene Masse erhalten wird,- bei welcher dann die Entfernung des Lösungsmittels nicht mehr notwendig ist, wobei die nach dem Erkalten erhärtete Masse wie Pech gemahlen werden kann.
