Description

Galvanische Kompresse. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine galvanische Kompresse für therapeutische Zwecke und besteht darin, daß eine Anzahl kleiner Metallplättchen in geringen Abständen voneinander auf oder zweckmäßig mittels ösenartiger Auspressungen in einer stoffartigen Unterlage befestigt sind. Die Metallplättchen sind durch Drahtverbindung entweder in nur einen Stromkreis oder auch in mehrere selbständige, Stromkreise derart einschaltbar, daß eine die Kompresse durchtränkende Flüssigkeit oder eine der ersteren aufgelegte Paste o. dgl. durch den angeschlossenen Strom - zweckmäßig auch unter Wärmeentwicklung - zersetzt werden kann. Derartige Kompressen können zur Behandlung jedem Körperteile leicht angepaßt werden, so z. B. bei Kopf- und Gesichtsbehandlung als Maske, sodann als Suspensorium, als Pessar für Hämorrhoiden u. dgl. mehr.Galvanic compress.
