Fig. ι und 2 stellen einen Plaidhalter für Zweiradvelo cipede in Seiten- und Vorderansicht dar. Die bisherigen Vorrichtungen zum Zweck der Befestigung eines Bündels an dem Kopf des Velocipeds bestehen in zwei mit Riemen versehenen Klammern, welche auf je einer der Lenkstangen befestigt werden, so dafs das Bündel oben auf den Lenkstangen festgeschnallt werden kann. Hierdurch wird dem Fahrer eine grofse Annehmlichkeit beim Bergabfahren genommen, nämlich die Möglichkeit, wenn die Maschine keines Antriebes durch die Pedale bedarf, die Beine zum Zweck des Ausruhens auf die Lenkstangen zu legen, und aus diesem Grunde ziehen die meisten Fahrer die Anbringung des Gepäcks hinter dem Sattel trotz der dadurch bewirkten einseitigen schädlichen Belastung des Hinterrades vor. Die abgebildete Construction vermeidet diesen Uebelstand, indem das zur Aufnahme des Gepäcks dienende Drahtgestell α in den Enden der beiden Arme des Bockes b drehbar ist und mittelst des Riemens c, der an einem unter der Kopfmutter d anzubringenden Knopf e befestigt wird, in beliebiger Lage festgehalten werden kann. Es ist hierdurch möglich, dafs beim Fahren in gewöhnlicher Weise, wie es die puiiktirten Umrisse in Fig. 2 zeigen, das Bündel hochgestellt werden kann; so dafs der Raum unterhalb der Lenkstange für die Bewegung der Beine freibleibt, während beim. Bergabfahren der Apparat nach Herablassen in die tiefere Lage ein Ueberlegen der Beine über die Lenkstangen nicht beeinträchtigt.Fig. Ι and 2 represent a plaid holder for two-wheeled bicycle cipede in side and front view. Bei den bekannten Constructionen dieser Art wird die Glocke durch Anziehen des Hebelarmes a, welcher mit dem Glockengestell einen auf dem Block b drehbaren Doppelhebel bildet, in Thätigkeit gesetzt, was indessen eine unbequeme und zeitraubende Manipulation bedingt, da die linke Hand zu dem Zwecke von dem Handgriff abgenommen und zu dem Hebel α geführt werden mufs. Wir. befestigen das Ende einer Schnur c an dem Hebel α und das andere Ende entweder unmittelbar an dem Handgriff d oder an einem für den Finger erreichbaren Ring, in welch letzterem Falle eine an dem Handgriff zu befestigende, mit einer Bohrung versehene Klammer nothwendig wird, die die Schnur C anzunehmen hat, und diese Einrichtung macht es leicht möglich, durch Anziehen der Schnur mittelst des Fingers die Glocke zum Ertönen zu bringen, ohne die Hand vom Handgriff zu entfernen.Fig. 3 shows an alarm bell set into action by the friction of a roller on the rubber ring of the front wheel of two-wheeled velocipede.
