Abstract

1. Package made of a semi rigid material such as cardboard to receive a plurality of cylindrical objects, this package comprising a bottom (1), side walls (2, 3, 9) perpendicular to the bottom, an upper part (6) parallel to the bottom and possibly sloping parts (4, 11) joining this upper part to the side walls, one (9) at least of the side walls being integral with rounded parts (2a, 3a) having substantially the form of the packed objects (7) and being joined to the contiguous walls (2, 3), a handle (13) being cut out from this wall (9), this packing being characterized in that said handle is cut out in the direction substantially perpendicular to the axes of said objects and that, on said handle (13), is bonded a strengthening strip (14) whose ends are also bonded to the adjacent parts of said wall (9) and a portion at least of the rounded part (2a, 3a) joining this wall to the contiguous walls (2, 3).
