Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Regelung der Gießspiegelhöhe in Stranggießkokillen. Die Regelung erfolgt durch Erfassung der Niveauänderungen des Gießspiegels unter Verwendung eines aus den Niveauänderungen resultierenden Meßsignals. Um die Gießspiegelregelung universell für alle Kokillentypen und -abmessungen, insbesondere bei allen zu vergießenden Legierungen aus NE-Metallen, einsetzen zu können, ist nach der Erfindung vorgesehen, daß die Erfassung der Gießspiegeländerung aus der Änderung des elektrischen Widerstandes zweier in die Schmelze tauchenden, elektrisch leitenden Stäbe erfolgt, die aus einem gegen die Schmelze widerstandsfähigen Material bestehen.The invention relates to a method and device for regulating the mold level in continuous casting molds.
