Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf Beton-und Mörtelverzögerer auf Basis von Phosphaten, frei von Alkalien. Es ist bekannt, daß sich z.-B. Alkaliphosphate gut für die Verzögerung von Beton-oder Mörtel eignen, diese Verzögerter gelten in ihrer Wirksamkeit allgemein für hydraulische Bindemittel. Wenn aber der Beton oder Mörtel alkaliempfindlichen Zuschlag enthält, könnten solche Verzögerer nicht angewendet werden, da die Grenze der Alkaliempfindlichkeit überschritten wird und es somit zu den bekannten Alkalischäden kommt. Die vorliegende Erfindung erlaubt nunmehr Beton-oder Mörtel-, die alkaliempfindlichen Zuschlag enthalten, zu verzdgern, indem z.B. Phosphorsäuren, Polyphosphorsäuren oder-und Tetraphosphorsäuren neutralisiert werden mit: Ammoniak, Mono-Di-oder Triaethanolamin, andere Amine wie: z.B.in Denmark by G.M. Idorn.
