Der Fafshahn besitzt in seinem Rohre ein besonderes Luftrohr, welches mit einer entsprechenden Oeffhung im oberen Hohlräume des- hohlen, mit einer Horizontalscheidewand versehenen Hahnkegels communicirt, und das Hahngehäuse ist mit einer vom Rohre nach abwärts reichenden Erweiterung versehen, durch welche die Flüssigkeit zum unteren Hohlräume des Hahnkegels gelangt, von wo sie austreten kann.The Fafshahn has a special air pipe in its pipe, which with a corresponding Hollow opening in the upper cavity, with a horizontal partition and the valve body is connected to one of the pipes downwardly extending enlargement through which the fluid flows to the lower cavities of the cock cone, from where it can exit.

Darüber schiebt man die konische Hülse G und setzt das Ganze am Zapfenloche des Fasses an. Beim folgenden Einschlagen des Hahnes wird derselbe so weit in das Zapfenloch hineingetrieben, bis der ringförmige Ansatz F des Hahnrohres gegen die Hülse G stöfst und sie mitnimmt. Ist Hülse G ganz ins Zapfenloch eingedrungen, so wird die Mutter E darüber geschraubt. Der Kautschukschlauch wird, sobald die Mulde J in der Flüssigkeit ist, sich infolge seines geringeren specifischen Gewichtes aufrichten. Der hohle, im Hahnkegel ax steckende Kolben B gestattet durch die Oeffnungen / I1 der Luft den Eintritt, welche durch die Oeffnung α in den Kautschukschlauch L gelangt. Die Flüssigkeit gelangt aus dem Fasse durch die Oeffnungen W1 n.2 H3 ni in die Hahnrohre H und C, von da in die Erweiterung C1 des Hahngehäuses, fliefst durch die Oeffnung CL11 des Hahnkegels in diesen letzteren und endlich in das untergehaltene Gefäfs.When using a rubber air duct L, Fig. Ι and 2, the rear end H of the tap pipe reaching the barrel has a trough-shaped cutout J in which the end of the rubber hose, as shown in FIG. 2, is folded together several times.
