Es läßt sich so bei der Nebeneinanderanordnüng die Buchung auf beiden Konten mit sehr.viel geringerer Möglichkeit fehlerhafter Niederschrift bewirken als bei den üblichen Hauptbüchern, bei denen die verschiedenen Konten regelmäßig' auf verschiedenen Doppelblättern eingetragen werden und die Notwendigkeit des Umblätterns die völlige Aufnahme des zu übertragenden Postens in das Gedächtnis bedingt. Bei der Übereinanderanordnung ergibt sich eine völlige Sicherheit gegen die unrichtige zweite Buchung, wenn, zwischen dem Soll- und Habenstreifen ein Kopierbogen angeordnet wird, der das Durchschreiben gestattet. Die versehentliche doppelte Buchung auf die Soll- oder die Habenseite der beiden jeweils in Betracht kommenden Konten ist bei Verwendung der neuen Einrichtung gänzlich ausgeschlossen, weil immer nur die samtliehen Sollposten den sämtlichen Habenposten gegenübergestellt werden. Die Einrichtung kann auch durch räumliche Verbindung mit der Schreibwalze einer Schreibmaschine so ausgebaut werden, daß statt¹ des einfachen Schreibens bzw. Durchschreibens das Schreiben, bzw. Durchschlagen mit der Maschine tritt. Zur leichteren Unterscheidung erhalten die Haben- und die Sollstreifen zweckmäßig verschiedene Färbung.
