Die Erfindung betrifft ein Mastfernrohr, welches auf einer Plattform, z. B. auf einem Schiff, zu errichten ist, wobei bezweckt wird, das Fernrohr sowohl über der Plattform, d. h. vom Schiffsdeck aus oder vom Schiffsinnern — unterhalb der Plattform — für die Benutzung zugänglich zu machen. Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung. Der in beliebieger Weise ausgeführte Mast oder das Traggerüst α kann verlängerbar sein und beim Nichtgebrauch eingezogen werden. Oben ist der Objektivteil b des Fernrohrs befestigt. Passend zu diesem sind der Erfindung gemäß zwei Okularteile vorgesehen. Der eine Okularteil c ist unter der Plattform im Schiffsraum befestigt und der andere Teil c¹ außerhalb angebracht. Letzterer kann wagerecht gedreht werden und luht dieserhalb schwenkbar in Lagern d, derart, daß man den Okularteil in die optische Achse führen oder, wenn nicht benutzt, in seiner punktiert angedeuteten Ruhelage beläßt.' Das im Schiffsinnern befindliche Okular c wird durch eine Glasplatte e o. dgl. vom Äußeren abgeschieden und gegen das Eindringen von Wasser geschützt. Für das auf Deck vorgesehene Okular läßt sich eine geeignete Schutzhülle benutzen, die dasselbe, wenn erforderlich, vollständig umgibt.The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention.
