Bei allen Betonpfahlgründungen, welche, in einer abgebohrten (System Strauß)- oder auch gerammten Blechform auf dem Bauplatz ausgeführt werden, und bei welchen die Blechform entsprechend ihrer Füllung mit Beton stückweise hochgezogen wird, geschieht es leicht, daß die Pfahlform höher gezogen wird als die Betonfüllung in der Form steht. Nachdem das Vortreibrohr a, b genügend tief in die tragfähige Erdschicht w hineingetrieben ist, wird der weiche Beton schichtenweise eingebracht und das Vortreibrohr stückweise hochgezogen. Bevor das Vortreibrohr aus der weicheren Bodenschicht ν gezogen ist, wird ein aus Streckmetall öder aus anderem Metallblech oder Drahtnetz o. dgl. gefertigter Zylinder y eingesetzt, welcher die Höhe der schlammigen Schicht ν oben und unten überragt. Wird nunmehr das Vortreibrohr mit sehr weichem Beton oder Mörtel gefüllt, um dem schlammigen Boden einen genügenden Gegendruck zu bieten, und das Vortreibrohr um die Höhe des Zylinders y hochgezogen, dann wird der weiche Beton durch die Maschen des Zylinders y in das ihn umgebende weiche Erdreich eindringen und es zurückdrängen, was durch Stampfen mit geeignetem Stampfer noch verstärkt werden kann. Es wird hierdurch erreicht, daß der Betonkern des Pfahles mit Sicherheit keine Unterbrechung erleidet. Außerdem bildet sich noch ein von oben nach unten sich verbreitender Wulst ζ über der festen Schicht w.
